Float Magazine is looking to see your work!
We accept all photographic styles. Each issue of Float has a unique theme to it. We will be looking for bodies of work that compliment this issue in the best way.
If you are not selected to an issue, feel free to try again to another theme. In addition, we run online exhibitions, book reviews and portfolio show case - what are you waiting for?
Due to a large quantity of emails, it might take us some time to answer you back but we make the effort to respond to you all.
Magazine Portfolio | 'About War'
Our next issue will tackle the notion of War. This is a complicated and hard issue but we think it is important to look in to photography as a tool of documentation and history capture. IF you have a project that you feel captures the notion of war, from various POV's and aspects, please send us a full body of work, an artist statement and your website. Please write in the title of the email 'About War - Submission'.
Online Portfolio | Submit 10-15 images (one body of work) , An artist statement or relevant text to the work, which include a title and some description of the work. Images should be Filetype .jpeg, 1200px on the long side. Please add your website for additional reference.
Instagram Takeover | Please send us your Instagram user name & A self portrait
Book Review Submission | Send us a link or a few images of the book for reference.
If we find it interesting we will provide you with an address for you to ship the book to. We will review it and post it online.
Online Exhibition + Publication | ‘The Vernacular of Landscape’
Subjectively Objective & Float Photo Magazine are accepting submissions for the upcoming joint exhibition & publication The Vernacular of Landscape, curated by Noah Waldeck.
Everyone who submits will receive a free copy* of the publication, regardless of whether your work is accepted. In addition to appearing in the publication, accepted work will also be featured in a Float Photo Magazine online exhibition.
